The first International Gundog Workshop in England held in Mid Sussex, was a resounding success for both Martin and Ian Openshaw . Over 3 days they worked with an enthusiastic group 0f 39 dogs and their owners. With Springers, Cockers, Labradors, Flatcoats and a Curly Coat in the group, it was a real mixed batch of levels and types. But, as one attendee commented the workshop was filled with ‘gold nuggets of information and help’.

 

Using both American and British approaches all dogs and handlers were put through their paces and shown how to improve their performance. If success is measured by happy faces and the demand for more – then this workshop was a huge success and one that will certainly be repeated. By public demand!!!
